Oshakati Guest Hotel is ideally situated in the capital of Oshana Region, in north-western Namibia, which is a gateway to many wonderful tourism sites. This is also where you will find the town of Okahao, birth place of the Founding President, Dr Sam Nujoma, the first president of Namibia.
You will be delighted by the many traditional shops, selling all sorts of art works, curios and crafts, i.e. Wambo baskets and clay pots, or Ekipas, hand crafted out of Elephant tusks. Also, you can traverse the Oshanas (water pans), into the nearest villages and experience true Namibian hospitality from the locals, in their Oshiwambo traditional homesteads.
